As business owners ourselves, we understand. We created JPix Cares to offer something we can give with care: photographs that help another entrepreneur present their business with confidence.

How It Works

Tell us about your business and where you are right now. It takes about five minutes.

GET SELECTED

We choose recipients based on need, readiness to use the images, and the difference the session could make.

SESSION DAY

A guided planning call, then your session at the studio — walking away with images ready to use.

Each session follows our Brand Refresh format — a 20-minute shoot, two setups, and five finished images — plus a short planning call so you leave with photos you can actually use on your website, LinkedIn, and marketing materials.

Who We're Looking For

  • Small business owners starting, rebuilding, or growing with limited resources
  • Ready to put new images to work within 90 days
  • Able to attend the designated session date in Landover, MD
  • Selected on need, readiness, and potential impact — not the most emotional story

Publicity is always optional. Being selected never requires being featured. If you're comfortable being part of a future spotlight, you can say so on the application — otherwise, your session and images are entirely yours.

Common Questions

Not currently. JPix Cares is a community program run by JPix Studio, with a clear, sustainable limit on the time and expenses we donate each cycle. We may explore a separate nonprofit structure down the road.

No. Publicity is always optional, both on the application and after your session. You can receive full support without ever being featured.

Community nominations are part of our future vision and aren't open yet during the pilot. For now, applications come directly from the business owner. We'll announce nominations here when they launch.

The pilot is intentionally small — three recipients over three months — so we won't be able to select everyone who applies. We'll let you know either way, and you're welcome to apply again as JPix Cares grows.
